Like an updated Daft Punk. Great job.

Her hands held high across the sky
Give and take we don't ask why
Signs of life within her sighs
Stars last seen with bloodshot eyes
-------------------------------------
-----------
Blood withdrawn with no remorse
She never cared much for recourse
Arm strapped tight above the source
lethal life non-lethal force

Breath life into paralysis
Her life sucking symbiosis
Leaving me to tell the world
The name of these sweet ashes
-------------------------------------
-----------
Her hands held high across the sky
Give and take we don't ask why
Signs of life in fading sighs
Stars last seen with bloodshot eyes

Youve got a great intro to a whole song.

Now make the rest of it.

Potayto responds:

Hah, thanks to you I actually finished this one up. Thanks for that. ;] Here's the link. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/liste n/435329

One Question,

Whatd you use for the orchestrals?

One of the better Hip Hip Songs on newgrounds

Nice flow, good track.

Immo responds:

THANX!1 I was questionable about this one for a few weeks, then I just said F*ck it let me post it and see what happens...
Just a fun song you know, I always just try to have fun.

I like it,

but your right, that flute thing takes this from gladiator opening music to D&D fan boy wet dream. It would sound a lot better if you took it out and replaced it with orchestrals of some type, maybe not have the rythme progress so much too.

Father-of-Death responds:

:( But I like D&D wet dreams...

I don't know what to change the flute to... I'll think of something. I want this to be RADICAL! I like the ending though, it's the only thing i did right.

Subject says what?

I'd say the genre is electronica since it's just a catch-all genre for things that don't fit anywhere else, it's too bad we don't have a category for it on Newgrounds though.

I like your use of base and low toned instruments. Its slow enough to be applicable in anything but the break beats create the illusion that the tempo's higher than it actually is.

In other words kudos to you sir.

You didn't lie.

I started this review intending it to be scathing to the point of tastelessness, but suddenly I find myself being accosted by typewriter people in berets who only smoke french cigarettes and only speak in 1960's game show dialogue, so, having kept good on the inter dimensional capabilities of your song, I'm toning my review down and giving you a two.

Nicely composed.

Seems like the kinda music they would put in an RPG like FF10 or something.
Wonder why they don't really make them anymore...

vibe-newgrounds responds:

I still haven't played FF10, but i like very much music from the series.

Great stuff.

I liked the singing, it really helped add a melody and tone that just kinda floated on it's own through the song.

haywirehaywire responds:

thanks dude.

Its a good song

The instruments were chosen well and I think you did a good job of keeping it somewhat fresh, although I did hear the same riffs a lot.
A problem we both have apparently.
My only gripe is that it sounded sort of flat, maybe
EQ it?

raving2thegrave responds:

I don't know how to EQ. I'm not that advanced. May I reccomend "System Fail" as the next song to listen to, it's much better
